Running until the 10 July, the long-running national print and drawing prize celebrates printmaking and drawing. It includes entries from across Australia of some of the finest contemporary works.

Gallery Director Ian Tully said more than 200 award entries had been received.

“The awards are held in high regard by artists and printmakers from around the nation and regularly attract about 2,000 visitors,” Mr Tully said.

“As well as being a highlight on the gallery calendar, the awards are a highlight for art lovers from around the Swan Hill region.”

“In addition to bringing some of the best works on paper to the region, the awards attract visitors from far afield, which benefits our local economy,” he said.

“I encourage our community to take the opportunity to view the exhibition and experience the very best of Australian printmaking and drawing.”
