Promiscuous Provenance

Award winning artist, Anna Glynn features in her stunning new exhibition Promiscuous Provenance in which she explores colonial artworks through reimagined antipodean landscapes and playful pairings.

In this solo exhibition, described as ‘lively and appealing’ by arts writer Louise Martin-Chew, Glynn combines 30+ new watercolour and ink works, 3D printed sculptures, a sound work and installation pieces, to explore our relationship with our colonial past by re-imagining the early settlers’ depictions of the flora and fauna they encountered.

Promiscuous Provenance is a travelling exhibition from Shoalhaven Regional Gallery Nowra. This project has been assisted by the Australian Government’s Visions of Australia program
