Swan Hill Regional Art Gallery to re-open

Following the recent easing of COVID-19 restrictions, the Swan Hill Regional Art Gallery will re-open from tomorrow (Tuesday, 10 November).

Gallery Director Ian Tully said he was pleased to be able to re-open the gallery following the Victorian Premier’s announcement regarding opening of cultural and entertainment venues.

“We’re absolutely delighted to be re-opening the gallery, in line with current restrictions,” Mr Tully said.

“It will be fantastic to once again have our community to be able to enjoy our program of exhibitions.”

Mr Tully said as per current COVID-19 restrictions, there will be a limit of 20 people per space in the main gallery.

“We will also request that visitors register their name and contact details for contact tracing purposes,” he said.

“Additionally, we ask that people do not visit the gallery if they are unwell.”

Mr Tully said visitors will be able to catch the last two weeks of the prestigious Swan Hill National Print and Drawing Awards.

“In December we’ll also be featuring Safe Space, so we’re very pleased to be welcoming visitors back to the Swan Hill Regional Art Gallery in time for these exhibitions,” he added.
