The Swan Hill Regional Art Gallery is once again proud to deliver the biennial Swan Hill Print and Drawing Acquisitive Awards. This year’s judges Carolyn Geraghty, Director of WaggaWagga Art Gallery and Michael Kempson Convenor of Printmaking Studies at The University of NSW and Director of Cicada Press, have selected close to 50 finalists that comprise the 2020 exhibition.
These outstanding artworks, books, prints and drawings, represent some of the best works on paper from across Australia.
Congratulations to Carolyn Craig for her work Words between Bodies (swearing as social capital) 2019, and Catherine O’Donnell, for her work Torn#1 2020 – winners of the 2020 Print and Drawing Awards.
Congratulations also go to Neilton Clarke and David Frazer. Both Neilton and David’s prints Hinohara Ring Reader, 2020 and The Tangled Wood 2018 respectively, were highly commended.
